To the Sea Shell City from Washington, Baltimore, N. Virginia area:
Take Route 50 East and cross the Bay Bridge. Shortly after the bridge Rt. 50 and Rt. 301 split - stay to the right on Rt. 50 toward Ocean City. Follow Route 50 to Route 404 in Denton, Md., and continue on Route 404 into Sussex County, Delaware, and Route 18. Take Route 18 to Route 113 in Georgetown and head south to Route 26 in Dagsboro. Take Route 26 straight into Bethany. To Fenwick, head south on Route 1 at the end of Route 26. Follow Rt. 1 to Fenwick Island. Rt. 1 will become Coastal Highway. Sea Shell City pink building is located in Fenwick Island, DE on the left hand side.
To the Sea Shell City from New York City, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Wilmington area:
Take the Atlantic City Expressway to the New Jersey Turnpike. Follow south on the Turnpike to the Delaware Memorial Bridge south of Wilmington, Del. Get on Route 13 S. and follow Route 13/Route 1 south to the Route 1 Bypass north of Smyrna. Take the Route 1 Bypass to Dover Air Force Base and Route 113 S. Then take the Route 113 S. to Milford, DE. At Milford, take Route 1 south all the way to the beaches. Lewes, Rehoboth, Dewey, Bethany, South Bethany and Fenwick are all located on Route 1. Sea Shell City pink building is located in Fenwick Island, DE on the left hand side.
If you are interested in taking a ferry, take the Garden State Parkway (toll) south to Cape May, N.J., and the Cape May-Lewes Ferry. The ferry will take you to Lewes, Del., and you can drive from there into the town of Lewes or go to Route 1 S. to go to Rehoboth, Dewey, Bethany, South Bethany or Fenwick Island, Delaware, or to Ocean City, Maryland.
